This is Beach Volleyball TRAINING!
Improve your sand skills with beach volleyball training sessions! These sessions are ideal for those with some experience in indoor or beach volleyball of any age/gender that want to make sure they cover all their bases and hone their skills.

What level am I?
Beginners-Intermediates: minimal experience with organised volleyball, and/or want to build their confidence or want to start from or expand on the basics
Intermediate-Advanced: confident in most aspects of the game or transitioning from a solid understanding of indoor to beach

Our topics go through all the basic skills involved in two-a-side beach volleyball, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of the game - Hopefully having some fun while we’re at it! To get the most complete coverage of the game, you should plan to attend a full series. Series tickets are also cheaper than individuals

Each session with internationally experienced & trained Coaches Jo and Diego will include a combination of warm up/physical exercise, explanation & practice of that weeks skill focus topic, relevant tactics and games. Session topics focus on what happens in beach volleyball that differs from indoor volleyball. The main skill focus topics covered include:
- Serving and ball control in the wind
- Passing & overall game concepts
- Setting and transition setting
- Block pulling
- Attacking shots
- Court awareness
- Defence
- The tricky bits and tactics
- Practice games

- 4:15pm - 5:45pm: Youths (age 12-19) and adults (age 20+)
- 6:00pm - 7:45pm: Youths (age 12-19) and adults (age 20+)

- Tuesday series: 7 November to 12 December
- Thursday series: 9 November to 14 December
- Both: all Tuesdays & Thursdays 7 November to 14 December
- Individual tickets available for each day

Subject to confirmation with WECA/VNZ: Youth under 19 at these events may be eligible for selection to the WECA Volleyball Association teams for participation in VNZ's IPC Champs 16-18 January 2024.
