Christchurch band Epicenta and Celine graham together with leading Christchurch rhythm and horn section players present an energetic vibrant tribute to the late and fabulous Amy Winehouse. Amy tragically died at 27 but her wonderful soulful jazzy pop songs live on. The band performance will include most of her famous albums back to black numbers which include rehab, you know I'm no good, tears dry on their own. Epicenta band have been performing songs of Amy's regularly at gigs for the last five years proving very popular. Supporters suggested that the band put together a show. They have done so and expanded the band to include local bassist Robbie carpenter and drummer Lou Moverly add in the fabulous horn section "all tie'd up" the group present an authentic tribute to Amy's pop jazzy blues style. Singer Celine Graham has been delighting audiences with superlative vocals across many genres locally for many years after she arrived back from professional performances in Europe. The setlist contains songs like Valarie, stronger than me, monkee man, in my bed. Any fans of Amy should catch this show.
