Arohanui Strings Foundation Day Celebration

You're all invited to help celebrate 13 years of Arohanui Strings! For 13 years we have been teaching tamariki and rangatahi around Wellington to play music!

From one classroom back in 2010, Arohanui Strings now runs several after-school orchestra and ensemble groups around Lower Hutt and Wellington, and we're expanding all the time.

Everything we offer is free – we do this because we believe access to a musical education is the right of every child, not just the privilege of a few. Our goal is to create social change through music – we know that learning music, and learning to play in harmony with others, can change lives.

We have a massive day of music and activities planned, including performances from our many musical friends from around Wellington – and the world! And, of course, our own students will play, showing off their dedication and skill in learning and mastering music.
