Brown Sugar Factory are the Tamaki based Funk House five piece from across the globe, intertwining energetic house beats, funk guitar/bass grooves and a dual female/male lead vocal that will bring the dance floor to its feet in seconds. Following successful debut singles in 2021 with radio play & live sets on George FM, Brown Sugar Factory's new EP Halina't Sumayaw has been immediately embraced across Aotearoa & the globe with their recent shows selling out overnight.

With support from Acts DJ’s ‘Mojo Smooth’ & ‘Sam Sideways’, Brown Sugar Factory will be presenting their most eclectic set yet full of brand new sounds, brand new friends, and brand new energy to be digested.

Playing live, Brown Sugar Factory are pure versatility in their craft. With a DJ house back beat, 5 part harmonies, choreography, a live bass groove and a Nile Rodgers funk strum; these seasoned and talented musicians showcase pure energy on any stage. With their own refined flavor of live sugar, BSF garnish a combination of original songs and clever reworks of classic and modern hits. From an emotional ballad to a house dance party, Brown Sugar Factory will fuel any sized room and leave all ages with nights and memories to cherish.

Last new year Brown Sugar Factory debuted a mainstage slot at a sold out AUM festival in Auckland's North Head for a 5,000+ strong crowd followed by a North Island EP Release tour across the country. In 2022 they have been booked as feature sets at Nelson Arts Festival, Vegan Vibes Fest, Waiheke’s Zoological Festival & Christmas in the Park in Tauranga.

In the tail end of 2022 Brown Sugar Factory released new music videos for their singles 'Funkfessions Pt.1' and 'Funkfessions Pt.2'.
