Conservation Week 2023 - Action for Nature

We’re delighted to announce that entries for ‘Take Action for Nature’ art competition for kids are now open.
The competition is open for children aged 5-12 until 20th August.
Children are invited to create an original artwork of what taking action for nature looks like or what they can do to take action for nature. It can also be a drawing of one the many threatened native animals or plants, along with a short-written component on their creation, including their age, name, phone number and/or email address.
This is a fantastic opportunity for primary school children unleash their artistic creativity while learning about Aotearoa’s threatened animals and plants – and the threats facing them.
Drawings can be dropped at Petronella’s Gallery and Bookstore in Tekapo by 20th August.
The winner will be announced Monday 21st August.
