Dead End Derby Presents: Roller Derby 101 / Learn to Skate

Have you ever wanted to step outside your comfort zone, try a new sport and meet awesome people? Our 2023 learn to skate programme starts at the beginning of each month and we'd love for you to join us!
Venue: Celebration Stadium (behind Celebration Church), 81 Bickerton Street, Wainoni, Christchurch

Day and Time: Sundays, 4pm-6pm
Cost: $35 per month with own gear or $40 per month using hire gear.
Limited gear hire is available, advanced sign up preferred. Otherwise, bring your skates, kneepads, elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet and a mouthguard.

You don't have to become a derby player if the full contact isn't your thing - you can get involved in many ways, including becoming a ref, or a non-skating official (NSO).

So come try the thing and come skate with us!

Our May intake starts on Sunday 7 May and then a new intake every first Sunday of the month all year round.
