Earth Day Eco-Festival at Albany Village Library

This Earth Day we have gathered together a variety of groups who can help you save money while also helping our precious environment.
We only have one Earth. Let's do our best to look after it!

WasteWise will run a free DIY Cleaning Products Workshop 1-2pm. Learn how to make your own cleaning products that are cheaper for you & kinder to the planet. If possible please bring an empty, clean glass jar so you can take home your cleaning creation to really put it to the test. Spaces are limited so bookings are essential. Watercare will be running a Water Saving Workshop 2-3pm. Saving water saves you money!

Bays Work in Progress will have their Food Activity Game in a pop-up tent outside the library's courtyard.
The Community Park Ranger for Upper Harbour/Kaipatiki will have information about restoration work, animal pests & traps.
Home Energy Audit Tool-kits will be available for you to look at & we can help you request one to borrow for free so you can check the energy use in your home.
Plant a salad garden using fruit & vegetable leftovers.
This community event is suitable for all ages.
