Edinburgh Premier Art Awards 2023

We are excited to announce that entries are now open for the 16th annual Edinburgh Premier Art Awards! Edinburgh is proud to support the arts in Otago and this is our premier event of the year.
Entries are open to artist's residing in New Zealand with a limit of two entries per artist. Entry forms are available from the Otago Art Society https://otagoartsociety.co.nz/ and Edinburgh Realty https://www.edinburghrealty.co.nz/about-us/art-awards

Prizes are as follows:

First $3000
Second $2000
Third $1000
Merit (x2) $500
Edinburgh Award $500
People’s Choice $500

The public exhibition of works will run from the 5th of August until the 2nd of September and will be held at the Otago Art Society in the Dunedin Railway Station. This will be your chance to vote for the People's Choice Award with the $500 prize to be announced at the close of the exhibition! The art exhibited will also be for sale so you might just find the perfect piece for your home.
