Exhibition Opening: Elijah McMillan & Lolani Dalosa

Papakura Art Gallery warmly invites you to celebrate the opening of 'Someone's at the Door' & 'Amazing Grace'.

Come and view a series of powerful and thought-provoking works by artists Elijah McMillan and Lolani Dalosa.

Amazing Grace is an assemblage of paintings that reflect the artist’s spiritual journey and the transformative power of faith, exploring themes of redemption, healing, and divine guidance.

Someone’s at the Door exhibits sculptural forms of screen-printed aluminium sheets and black painted found objects. These works provide personal intimations surrounding cultural identity through the examination of fear, fragmentation, reconciliations with the past and present, and the evocation of urban pacific childhood.

The opening will commence at 10:30 AM and the gallery will close at 2:00 PM.
This exhibition will be on show from 30 September – 11 November 2023.
This is a free event and no registration is required.
