A wintery Sunday afternoon is the perfect time to embrace our yearning for delicious, comfort food, heartwarming dishes, and the fragrant scents of winter. It's a time for great company, laughter, shared stories and celebrating companionship with great friends.
Our winter afternoon tea will take you on a nostalgic journey, enchanting and maybe even surprising you. Accompanied by a glass of bubbles or a beautiful smooth red, you will also be treated to tea pairings perfect for complementing the senses and the chef's creations.
Enjoy an elevated high tea experience, complete with hot dishes, especially crafted for the cooler months. Sit back, enjoy the roaring fire and linger longer at Mangapapa Hotel.
Ticket price includes special winter high tea, a Glass of bubbles or a red wine on arrival, fragrant tea selection or barista coffee served with the high tea.
F.A.W.C! is a series of exceptional food and wine experiences set in stunning locations in Hawke’s Bay. Running twice a year, F.A.W.C! is a chance to get up close and personal with chefs and food producers, wine makers and the clever people that make up the New Zealand food and wine scene. F.A.W.C! Winter Series runs every weekend during June.
