An unashamedly buoyant and optimistic programme begins with Haydn's Horn Concerto No. 1 in D featuring NZSO's Horn, Sub-Principal Alex Hambleton. We take a tranquil moment with Respighi's Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite 3 for strings. The thoughful and introspective mood continues with Haydn's Symphony No. 16 in B flat.
