New music from Scandinavia, Scotland and Chile across styles, cultures and frontiers!
Himmerland is a group of four travelling musicians, each carrying very different life stories and traditions in their bags. We come from different regions of Denmark, Sweden, Scotland and Chile.
The talented group tours in large parts of the world these years, performing new music rooted in the very different styles, cultures and traditions of the four outstanding and very experienced composers and musicians. Wherever the band play, they spread warmth and happiness amongst people.
The evening will include complimentary refreshments.
This event is a joint fundraiser for Epilepsy NZ and SUDEP research (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy), along with a small amount going towards overseas mission and aid.
