Manioro Creative Wānanga - Contemporary & Indigenous creative workshops

Our creative workshops showcase the talents of our rainbow communities and are a way for everyone to learn new ways of expression.

Join us as we learn contemporary and indigenous creative ways to enhance our hauora (wellbeing) and connection with ourselves and others. Our workshops aim to be inclusive, educational, and enjoyable for all whānau and friends.

Workshops available include:

• Poetry & Spoken Word
• Fabric Painting*
• Fashion, Hair & Make-up

Our Fabric Painting workshop will be facilitated by Aunty Phy (Phylesha Brown-Acton, MNZM). This workshop will be 30 minutes and occur simultaneously to other workshops. Spaces are limited and subject to availability on the day. Make sure you come early to secure your place in one of her workshops.
