Mapua Literary Festival

Boutique literary festival with a local feel, held in Mapua and all ticket sales will benefit the Mapual Community Library. This year's event will be organised by volunteers from the library and will feature local writers from the Tasman & Golden Bay areas. Theme this year is "Celebrating Local Writers " Authors include: David Young, Chris Stuart, Alesha Bilbrough-Collins, Robert Jenkins, Gerard Hindmarsh, Kim Swan, Suzanne Clark, Pic Picot.
Conversationalists: Greig Caigou, Nicolla Galloway, Dr Charlotte Sunde, Liz Price, Esme Palliser, Elaine Fisher
Poets: Roger Lusby, Jessica Le Bas, Mark Raffills, Henry Ludbrook, Rose Michel von Dreger, Carol Don Ercolano, Emma Callaghan.
Children's Workshop "Telling Stories with Illustration",
7-9 years and 10-12 years with Jane Smith from Chocolate Dog Studio.
Independent Publishing workshop with Dave MacManus from the Copy Press.
