E tiu atu ana mātou ki ngā rangi huri taiāwhio nei i te ao, tōmene ai i ngā whetū o Matariki, ki CSO Presents: Matariki Around the World!

He tini ngā ingoa o Matariki, ā, he tini ngā iwi e kite ana, e whakanui ana hoki i a ia. I Aotearoa, ko tā Matariki putanga i te puku o takurua he tohu i te maharatanga, te harikoa, me te āio, ka mutu, he wā kia whakanui, kia tapatahi, kia whakarite i ngā ara hōu.

Kia takatū ki tētahi konohete motuhake e whakamīharo ana i te whānau katoa, hei ngā hararei ā-kura e whai ake nei. Kia kotahi, kia rua rānei ngā mātakinga, he RUA nō ā mātou konohete!

E hāngai ana ki te pukapuka me tōna ingoa ōrite, nā Rangi Matamua rāua ko Miriama Kamo i tito, nā Isobel Joy Te Aho-White ngā pikitia i tā, nā Scholastic New Zealand i whakaputa.

We’re embarking on an enchanting journey exploring the Matariki star cluster around the globe with "CSO Presents: Matariki Around the World!"

Matariki (or Pleiades) is known by many different names and is seen and celebrated by many cultures. In Aotearoa, the mid-winter appearance of Matariki heralds a period of remembrance, joy, and peace and is a time for unity and celebration, marking the start of new beginnings.

Prepare for a special concert that will delight the whole family, perfectly timed for the next school holidays. See it once or see it twice because we're putting on TWO back-to-back concerts!

Based on the wonderful book of the same name, written by Rangi Matamua and Miriama Kamo, illustrated by Isobel Joy Te Aho-White, and published by Scholastic New Zealand.

** Door Sales available from 9.15am **
