Maunga Clean-up Whakapapa 2023

Grab your pick-sticks and rubbish bags and join us for a half-day clearing the slopes around Whakapapa ski field of rubbish and litter.

Bring along your friends and little ones and help us get stuck in caring for the maunga.

Minimum Age: All ages. 0-15 years with adult supervision

Meeting Place: Top of the Bruce Carpark, Iwakau Village, Whakapapa Ski field.

Participants are asked to bring:
- Appropriate footwear (e.g. hiking boots) for walking on volcanic rock and uneven ground
- Water & snacks
- Sunscreen/sunhat/sunglasses
- Windproof jacket
- Mobile phone

Please note: the trip leader reserves the right to refuse anyone who is insufficiently equipped.
