Join Conservation Volunteers NZ on our Papakura Stream Restoration Project. On this day we will be caring for thousands of native trees and shrubs that have recently been planted by releasing them from strangling weeds. CVNZ will provide all of the tools and equipment required as well as experienced leaders who are keen to share their knowledge of native fauna and flora.

Please email Gemma at info@cvnz.org.nz or call us on 0800 567686 to register for this volunteer day.
This event will go ahead rain or shine, however in the case of severe weather we email those that have registered to inform them of any cancellations.

What to wear: Please wear sturdy, comfortable footwear and preferably something you don’t mind getting muddy (gumboots, hiking shoes, work boots, trainers), appropriate outdoor clothing (lightweight long sleeved clothing and trousers are encouraged to protect yourself from cuts and scratches and insect bites/stings).

What to bring: Please bring with you a hat, waterproof jacket, sunblock, a snack, water and any medication you may need (hayfever medication, inhalers etc). We will have extra water, sunblock, snacks and insect repellent with us on the day.
This event is part of EcoFest, an annual month-long festival taking place Saturday 18 March – Sunday 16 April 2023. EcoMatters, Kaipātiki Project, Beautification Trust and Waiheke Resources Trust are teaming up to collectively showcase all that Tāmaki Makaurau has to offer in the sustainability space. Visit ecofest.org.nz and join us!
