New Years Eve Napier 2023

Napier’s favourite New Year’s Eve event at the iconic Soundshell is back for another year, providing all the goods for people young and old to farewell 2023 and welcome the New Year with a bang.

Headlining the event this year is The Relatives, a contemporary and energetic band from Wellington. The Relatives play a diverse range of all your favourite sing-along hits. Expect to hear an expansive repertoire of popular songs from the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Mumford and Sons, The Killers, Bruno Mars, Journey, and many more spanning many generations.

Music will be kicking off from 7pm with local singer songwriter Jackson Plumpton, followed by the talented Riqi Harawira, and later on R&B/soul artist Scarlett Eden and her band before the headlining act. In between we will be treated to funky DJ sets from DJ Sneeky. And of course, to get you up and moving we will have two special performances from Floorless Dance
Studios.

Throughout the evening food trucks, live music and two impressive fireworks displays will set the scene for a lively evening on the picturesque Marine Parade. The first fireworks display will be at 9:45 for those of us who love an early night
