No Conformity is youth-lead, and youth-focused event featuring local punk and rock bands: Late to Chelsea, Thinking Foxes and Strategist Wang. Taking place at the multi-purpose venue BIG FAN located in Morningside, this non-profit event is organised by the 2023 Ignite participants where they learn the skills on how to organise and run an event themselves with the help of industry professionals.

Featuring Late to Chelsea, Thinking Foxes and Strategist Wang. With a youth focus, and proceeds going to Gumboot Friday, this is an event you will not want to miss!

Late to Chelsea are 4-piece-punk band who refuse to take themselves seriously. Their distorted, rhythm heavy garage punk tracks tell tales of their debauchery and mischievous activities, and even hard hitting topics such as society’s mutual hatred of wasps.

Strategist Wang was formed in the grimy pits of high school, with 4 mates passionate about music. Blending elements of grunge, pop-punk, and the general absurdity of the teenage mind, Strategist Wang offers a fresh sound in the comedy rock genre. So If you're tired of serious bands singing about serious stuff, we're the band for you! let loose and lets go crazy!

Thinking Foxes is an Auckland based band consisting of four like minded musicians who create a fresh take on Alternative Rock. Blending elements from Grunge, Britpop, Indie Rock and Pop-Punk, Thinking Foxes deliver high-energy guitar based music rich with pop melodies.

All proceeds from this event are going to Gumboot Friday to assist the support of our Rangatahi in Aotearoa. https://www.gumbootfriday.org.nz
