"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....", a couple of ‘good brass-tards’, Bill Vail & Adrian Dalton discussed an idea of starting a brass band centred in north west Christchurch, an area in which they both resided…beer was involved! The inaugural rehearsal was in Bill’s garage and 5 people showed up. Today there are 3 bands with around 100 playing members in Nor’west Brass.
Do join us for our 8th Anniversary Concert at the The Cardboard Cathedral on 18 March & hear what the Main Band and the Zephyrs have been up to recently. Performance starts at 2.00pm & finishes around 3.30. Entry is free but any donations are appreciated.
