NZ String Quartet

As part of their national tour, visiting 17 centres, the New Zealand String Quartet will be playing in Motueka on 20th May. As always, the Quartet will bring an eclectic and vibrant mix of music that promises to excite and entertain, from familiar classical favourites to spicy contemporary works and a few hidden gems. The tour programme has been designed using the NZSQ’s signature style of lively and engaging introductions to each piece of music spoken by the Quartet members themselves. These introductions aim to illuminate the stories behind the music and make this a special and engaging event for all audiences. Their programme includes works by Haydn, Schubert and Shostakovitch. The concert starts at 2.30pm. Tickets can be purchased at Floral Affaire (cash only) or at the door on the afternoon of the concert (Eftpos available.)
