This course is brought to you by the Textile Hub, an innovative educational business dedicated to empowering individuals and businesses through a curated selection of short courses.

This 2-day course introduces the use of Photoshop as a design tool for digital textile printing. Participants will learn to use a range of tools including Layers, Patterns and Textures. It provides an overview of the digital textile printing process and the pros and cons of digital textile printing will be explained.

Presenter
Damen Joe is a graduate from AUT University where he studied for his Master’s Degree in Visual Art and Design. With a strong interest in working between both digital and handmade imagery, upon graduation he went on to teach at AUT and Unitec as a lecturer in both computer-aided design and printmaking. Damen's interests continue to span a wide variety of media: from preserving centuries-old manuscripts and books; undertaking commissions as a freelance designer; to creating and exhibiting full digital artworks. Damen presented short courses on this subject at AUT between 2007 and 2022.
