Rubita will be jumping over the ditch to Lyttelton, Aotearoa this November to promote their upcoming single 'Strange Company' and to keep riding the wave of their hit 'Geraldine'! The Rubita Band and the String Onions will be merging forces to bring an unforgettable night of soulful melodies, fat bass riffs and the sweet harmonies of a string trio. The String Onions features Wellington City Orchestra violinist Nicole Bares, multi instrumentalist Theo Sekeris (Lake South, Ras Judah), and the Rubita Band features Seth Clement on drums and Hon Manawangphiphat on bass guitar.
