Seriously Brass

Seriously Brass will showcase one of New Zealand’s finest brass bands, Christchurch’s iconic Woolston Brass with Music Director Tyme Marsters alongside talented Woolston Concert Brass with Music Director Phil Johnston.

Featuring the 2023 National Brass Band Championship repertoire in preparation for competing in the A and C Grade band events being held in July in Dunedin, this pre-contest concert will impress with the bands’ excellent technical skill and musicianship.

Each band will perform a Sacred Item, Own Choice and Test Piece for their respective grade showcasing the breadth of talent in the organisation.
