Songwriters' Showcase #79

The 19 November show will feature The Divorcees, Nick Hyde, Florence, and Gabriel Bond.

The Divorcees - Singer-songwriters Beans Maries, Hollie Wright, and Don Mackay join forces Crosby Stills and Nash style with a mixed repertoire. Expect tasty harmonies and lots of stringy things.

Nick Hyde - Nick’s Songs come straight from the heart, with thoughtful, soulful lyrics that inspiration from his personal experiences in life. With a musical style inspired by the likes of Ryan Adams, the Goo Goo Dolls and Ed Sheeran, Nick blends elements of alternative rock with deep acoustic melodies and raw, emotional vocals to create a unique New Zealand sound.

Florence - Florence Kitteridge is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter based in Pōneke who writes alternative lyrics-driven music. Classically trained on the piano, she is inspired by artists such as Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, and Suzanne Vega. She has played in several venues around Wellington.

Gabriel Bond - I love playing intricate, fingerpicked guitar parts and singing melancholy lyrics at the same time, and sometimes people even listen!
