Sunday Concert - Tandrom Trio

Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō presents Sunday Concert Series.

Concerts are held on the last Sunday of the month at Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō from 2-3pm and are free to attend.

This month’s artist is Tandrom Gypsy Trio!

Since 2006, Tandrom Gypsy have been dazzling audiences with an eclectic fusion of tango, klezmer, swing and classic Roma tunes. Add to these the sounds of Balkan and French cafe melodies for a listening experience ranging from tuneful delight to drama and passion. Currently the line-up consists of virtuoso violinist Ana Henderson, renowned accordionist Rebekah Greig accompanied by Simon Burgess on guitar and vocals. These three seasoned musicians bring experience from jazz, orchestral and traditional groups to deliver both professional musicianship and compelling dance rhythms played on portable acoustic instruments., Whether on the concert stage or mingling in a cafe, their goal is to share their skills and enthusiasm to have fun!
