Magic is a Lavender and Cut Flower Farm at Mt Holdsworth, between Carterton and Masterton. Situated in the hills it has an amazing backdrop of the Tararua Ranges.

Wairarapa's largest and longest-running commercial lavender farm is different to other lavender farms, Lavender Magic specialises in English Lavender, has about 5000 lavender plants and grows a range of cut flowers. In season you will find pockets roses, lilies, sunflowers, zinnias and over 600 dahlias.

The Sunday Stroll - Relax and Recover - Take time out for yourself and relax before you head home from your busy Wairarapa weekend. Or pop over for a Sunday drive, Lavender Magic is approximately 1hr 15 away from Wellington and Palmerston North. Stroll among the flowers or take a seat at one of the picnic tables in the field. Enjoy the heady scent and vibrant colours, the magic is infectious.

Visit the Lavender Magic shop for our hand-crafted lavender products. Since 2007 Lavender Magic has won many awards for the quality of their lavender oil, which can be purchased on site along with other favorite balms, creams, soaps and sprays, usually sold at the Wairarapa Farmers' Market each Saturday. Cut flower bouquets can be ordered in advance. A limited number of PYO lavender and pick you own cut flowers may be available, but this will depend on the numbers visiting and the growing season.
