Graham and Suzanne Lynch have performed together many times, mostly overseas. They first met in ‘70s when Suzanne was with The Chicks and Graham backed them in his band, Lutha. This collaboration and friendship now cover five decades

Suzanne Lynch
Was discovered along with sister Judy by Peter Posa, becoming regular performers on ‘C’Mon’ in the late 60’s, in 1971 as a soloist on ‘Happen In’. Established a popular career as "The Chicks" and as a solo performer. Suzanne went to England 1973, quickly became one of London’s first call session singers. In 1974 that she met Cat Stevens. Cat’s single "Oh Very Young" has Suzanne singing the solo line. Two world tours with Cat followed, sang on all his albums until in1979 when he stopped.

Suzanne also performed at Royal Festival Hall for Neil Sedaka's big concert in the 70's, (as part of his 3-girl vocal group), with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Regularly performing in the tv show "Get It Together" and her group "Bones" backed the big English guest artists. Suzanne sang vocals on "Lulu"; "Little and Large", The Goodies and Leo Sayer's tv series.

Since 2007 back in NZ, Suzanne vocal coach for TVNZ's “New Zealand Idol” and coached on "Stars in Their Eyes" 2008, 2009. Suzanne teaches contemporary vocal and stage performance. She is currently busy performing as a soloist, with band The Ladykillers, teaches at Auckland University and private pupils.

Suzanne also performed with Cat Stevens (now Yusuf Islam) as guest at his concert in Christchurch last year.

Graham Wardrop
From Dunedin band Lutha (1970 - 1973), the first Dunedin band to record two albums of original music, to 2023 with ten albums to his credit, Graham Wardrop has been writing, performing and recording music continuously.

He has toured or worked with: Tommy Emmanuel, Valdy (Canada), Martin Taylor, Leo Kottke, Manhattan Transfer, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Vanessa-Mae, Michael Crawford, Billy T James, Slim Dusty and many others.

2022/23 saw him performing ‘All You Need Is Love’, music of the Beatles, under the baton of maestro Tom Rainey. Graham maintains a busy performance schedule; he also handcrafts instruments on which he performs. He is a musician of great versatility and his love of balance, harmony and precision culminates in his richness of sound and a unique style of performance.

Elizabeth Braggins
Elizabeth’s enthusiasm and aptitude for music led to her first music lessons when she was very little.
She started learning music through to her mid-twenties. As a teenager she learned classical guitar, clarinet and the French horn but the piano and singing have always been her forte.

A University of Canterbury music degree, then a post-graduate degree at Teachers’ College, taught music schools and HOD position at Christchurch Rudolf Steiner School. A tutor and Leader at the Jazz School. She now teaches piano, vocals, performance, music theory and composition from her studio.

‘Liz Braggins’ has a unique style developed from many years of immersion in music. Her highly original versions are an eclectic mix of genres. Currently completing a second solo album recorded on the Steinway piano at St Margaret’s College.

Liz features on RNZ; Christchurch International Jazz Festival, Christchurch Arts Festival, Waipara Wine and Food, Wanganui Arts Festival and Toast Martinborough. Worked alongside NZ’s greatest musos: Nathan Haines, Caitlyn Smith, Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Nairobi Trio, Ali Harper, Warratahs, Beaver, Murray Wood, Tom Rainey, Malcolm McNeill, Stu Buchanan, Hayley Westernra, Don McGlashan, Midge Marsden and CSO.

Doors open 7pm. Performance at 7.30pm, please reserve your seat as likely to be a sell-out concert.
