Jeremy and Willie have been around the Christchurch music scene for many, many years and have collaborated together in Sheebeen, the Choonz, Dublin Street and The Shameless Few.
Both the boys have been involved separately in numerous musical projects, and Willie performs professionally as a solo act.
What happens when you put two multi-instrumentalists on a stage with far too many toys and probably too much coffee? Answer… a band in a box, A two-man band, an interesting evening?
Guitars, Mandolin, Fiddle, Harmonica, Bass, Percussion and possibly a few late additions.
From original tunes and songs to re-imagined traditional and covers from multiple genres, there is sure to be a bit of something for everyone.
Support Act: Marc Seddon
Marc hails from Merseyside, North West England, moving to Christchurch in 2014.
Marc has been playing, writing and singing music for over 25 years, mainly focusing on acoustic guitar for the past 12 years, in between teaching as a day job.
Writing mostly folk songs about his life with inspiration from the music of Richard Thompson, John Smith, John Martin, Jerry Reed, Richard Smith etc but loves all styles of music, having played in rock, blues and heavy metal bands in the past.
Entry: Members $15, General Admission $20 and $5 Students with ID
Doors open 7pm. Performance starts at 7.30pm, you will get a seat if you arrive close to 7pm.
Venue: Irish Society Hall, 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon
The hall is situated up the long driveway, directly next to Domain Park, and there is plenty of well-lit off-street parking.
Door sales cash only: Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake available during the break, also bar facilities for cold refreshments throughout the night, Eftpos available for purchases only, no cash-out facility. Folk Club and Irish Society members please remember to bring your membership card for licencing purposes. Non-members sign in at bar.
