The Dee Street Band is a Dunedin-based band who play original folk, blues, rock, and protest music, with the occasional sea shanty thrown in for good measure. They perform regularly at local festivals, bars and cafes around Dunedin.
The band first formed when Richard and Michelle Jackson lived on Doon Street in Dunedin. Dave Cox, the drummer, is also one of the original founding members. Bill Gilmore, keyboards, joined the band in early 2022. Kendall Henderson features regularly as a guest brass player and backing vocals. The band's original songs reflect a life-long passion for social and environmental justice, living authentically and making a better world. In mid-2022, Richard's brother Steve Wells (former member of well-known New Zealand band, Fur Patrol), offered to produce some of the band's songs.

Introducing the Opening Act: Isabelle Wolff, German singer/songwriter
Genres: gypsy jazz pop with German and English lyrics
“A young specially talented singer with beautiful written songs. A talent that should be supported!” – Lulo Reinhardt
Isabelle discovered her love of singing early on in the children's choir and then in various student bands. Later, she gained experience in a wide variety of lineups - from acoustic duo to cover rock band. Her musical commitment was always accompanied by writing her own songs.
In 2015 while walking the Camino de Santiago spiritual hiking trail in the north of Spain, the decision finally came to start studying singing in Enschede (in the Netherlands) at the Popacademy Artez. She finished her Master of Music for jazz and pop vocals in 2022.
Around the same time, she began collaborating with Lulo Reinhardt, a well-known German descendant of the gypsy jazz pioneer Django Reinhardt.
