Thomas Wilson - Festival Organ Concert

Thomas grew up in Hamilton and now returns to us to present a fabulous afternoon of Organ Music in the beautiful setting of St Peter's.

Thomas has had a stellar career as a concert performer and a church musician, holding cathedral positions in Wellington, London and Sydney.
Music by composers J.S. Bach, Mozart, Buxtehude, Walton, Dupré and Aotearoa's Douglas C Mews

After a recital by Thomas In Perth, Australia last year one reviewer noted “…the considerable musicianship and technical prowess of organist Thomas Wilson, … who on this occasion returned to St George’s to offer a stimulating and varied program… This superb concert … opened the eyes – or ears – to a new world.” (Limelight Magazine)

The pipe organ in St Peter's Cathedral is the largest & most comprehensive in the city, and Thomas is bound to make full use of it in this spellbinding concert!
