Join us for an all-age organ concert with a twist. Be amazed and amused by the musical skills and musings of Helen Lukman-Fox.
Hear the music: from Bach's intricate German to Vierne's dreamy French, to Field's Irish nocturne, to Brubeck's toe-tapping American jazz, to gentle Chinese lullaby, to Indonesian ethnic fusion, to 70s Japanese music, and everything else that brings joy to Helen's heart.
See how Helen's feet can play the notes on the pedalboard as well as her fingers can play the keyboards, learn how a pipe organ works, see the inside of a pipe organ. If you're very lucky you might be able to try playing the organ yourself!
Bring your family, friends, frenemies, neighbours, strangers, and your sense of humour. Expect the unexpected, as this is NOT a typical organ concert!
Entry by gold coin donations towards organ maintenance fund. If you enjoy the concert, cash/gold/diamonds in the tip jar for the organist would be highly appreciated.
Your organist/entertainer, Helen Lukman-Fox, is an Indonesian born Australian of Chinese descent who has lived in 20 cities in 5 countries. She's currently based in Auckland.
