The Embassy of the Republic of Poland and the Goethe-Institut invite you to get to know some outstanding Polish women. Join us for the vernissage of the exhibition, where you can explore the display and enjoy a poetry reading.

The exhibition features winners of the Nobel Prize in Literature, Wisława Szymborska and Olga Tokarczuk; physicist and chemist Maria Skłodowska-Curie; pioneering surgeon Maria Siemionow; socio-political leaders Irena Sendlerowa and Anna Walentynowicz; artist Olga Boznańska; mountaineer Wanda Rutkiewicz; sailor, traveller and naval architect Krystyna Chojnowska-Liskiewicz; and the Polish suffragists.


5pm: Doors open.
5.30pm: The official part of the event starts.

The exhibition will be displayed until the 24th of November and can be visited during our opening hours. (Mon-Thu, 12-6pm)
