Join Historian Michael Fowler for a newly developed Art Deco tour around the Hastings East CBD on Saturday 22 July, following by a delicious lunch at Craft & Social, within the historic former Hastings Municipal Buildings.
Michael’s tour will take you through the Art Deco and heritage buildings of Hastings East, and tell fascinating stories of the town’s characters, architects, shopkeepers – and of course the buildings.
Lunch (drinks own responsibility) will be at Craft & Social, 319 Heretaunga Street East, Hastings. The food is from their delicious sharing plate menu (please advise any dietary requirements).
The Tour leaves from the Hastings I-site (next to Craft & Social) at 10.45am, followed by lunch at Craft & Social at 12noon.
