Word Youth MTB: Friendship Festival!

Calling all the Girls aged 7- 13 years, get ready to pedal your way into a day full of laughter, adventure, creativity, and new friendships. This event is all about whakahoahoa (friendship) and a shared love for mountain biking.

Come and join in the fun - they’ll be heaps of games, crafts, food, and heaps more!

So, grab a friend, bring your bike, and get ready to make some amazing new friends at the Friendship Festival. Don't have a friend who rides? No worries! Come along and you're sure to make some new friends who share your love for biking.

We are passionate about providing quality opportunities for girls and young women to try mountain biking (and other activities) in a safe space, where girls can be themselves and be active in a fun way.

Word, World Off-road Riding Department, is a rad youth mountain bike charity (NZ Charity Number CC50833) based in Aotearoa. We run after school programmes and holiday camps for kids age 7-17 years old in the Wellington Region, Wānaka and Ōtautahi (new for 2023!).
