Witness World War History first- hand at the Wrights Hill Fortress Open Day on Kings Birthday.
Self- guide yourself and family or friends around the labyrinth of tunnels and gun emplacements. The walk usually takes about one hour.
On show will be historic photos, a replica of the huge gun barrel, and military living history display from WW2 and the Vietnam period.
Moderate entry fees; Family $20, Adults $10, Kids $5. Cash only, please. Refreshments also for sale.
Limited car parking at the hill summit- use walking tracks. Access via Karori Road, Campbell Street and Wrights hill Road.
