Break free from the confines of a bleak winter
Treat yourself, family and friends to an adventuresome day out with the Lions' Annual Fun Car Rally.
Since 2009 this annual Car Rally has been a fun ramble, exploring the best of Auckland and surrounds with a bunch of keen families and friends, taking entrants to places they might never have seen. Organised by the Lions Club of Blockhouse Bay-Lynfield.
Visiting several fantastic spots, challenging entrants to find their way with cryptic clues and to answer questions about key locations passed.
A chance to explore new locations, eventually reaching the ultimate destination where entrants can relax for lunch.
Bring BYO lunch and get free a sausage from the Lions sizzle to enhance the experience.
After lunch there will be chance to explore the surrounding area and possibly go somewhere special on the way home.
Advise to bring along, good walking shoes, outdoor clobber.
NOTE:- Blockhouse Bay Community Centre is listed as venue, being out home base, actual starting point in Blockhouse will be revealed when registration is made.
