The Whangarei District Council would like to invite you to attend our upcoming Puanga Matariki Community Hui at Hihiaua Cultural Centre.

Each year we celebrate Puanga and Matariki through a festival that aims to bring together not only our local communities but all our Whangārei organisations to dream, inspire, educate, and connect.

We would like to invite you to join us for a community hui to share your thoughts, intentions and plans so that we can collectively weave our own dance of stars and dreams for our region this Puanga Matariki.

This meeting is open to any person or community group who is interested in running an event as part of the Puanga Matariki Festival or has an idea of something they would like to see delivered to the community to celebrate Puanga and Matariki.
