Retro Ride

This is an easy 8 to 10 km Fun Ride so everyone can complete it in a leisurely fashion. See some of the interesting sights around the city and enjoy part of the beautiful riverbank shared pathway including the He Ara Kotahi bridge. We want to show the joys of cycling, so bring your friends.

Departs – Cyclista Café, George St, Palmerston North. Am

Get that old bike out (or your current one) and enjoy the ride!
All types of bikes and all types of riders welcome. Open to all – children must be under parental supervision.

Prizes for best dressed & best bike.

This is our annual Retro Ride so we’re encouraging you to dress retro and if possible, ride a retro bike. However, everyone who wants to ride irrespective of bike or gear, is welcome. Theme for the ride this year is “Back to the Future”, so use your imagination.

Great spot prizes, music, and discounted coffee and drinks at Cyclista after the ride, thanks to Palmy BID.
A registration fee of $5 is being donated to @arohanuihospice.
