Loefah

Loefah is one of the last true pioneers of a british dance genre as one of the founders of dubstep, but his musical influences span a multitude of genres from chicago house to true hardcore. Both his original productions and dj sets are orchestrated by an acute knowledge of how to take people on an experience.His productions are known to be minimal and dark but he effortlessly delivers intricate joy into a track too.

Chinese daughter is a deep lover of music and has a wicked ear. To put it simply, she gets it. South london born and raised, she grew up surrounded by electronic music, originally connecting to the rave front right of the speaker at cable on bermondsey st.

An avid lover of vinyl she collects everything from hardcore to acid house but is especially known for her vinyl-only jungle sets and is one of the biggest breakthrough dj’s on the scene.

Snowy

As far as grime goes, it’s a continuous topic that sparks controversy from both the older generation and gen-z. Some may say it died out, however, snowy is one of the many emcees that’s still pushing its vigorous energy and shell-worthy bars to the forefront of black british music … snowy.

With a catalogue accommodating over 10 years in the game, snowy has always pushed the musical boundaries, continued to reinvent himself and never been afraid to use his voice, resulting in his sound being both experimental and fearless.

Collaborating with some of the most innovative names from various genres, including sleaford mods’, jason williamson, sumgii and sam binga, he has been a regular with notable platforms including dj mag, complex and rinse fm. His latest ep ‘sirius’ is undoubtedly one of his most ambitious projects to date seeing him collaborate with varying producers who each bring their own unique style to the project.

Babetech

Stella is a deejay based in te whanganui-a-tara with whakapapa to te aupōuri and te whānau-ā-apanui. She embodies a fierce and energetic sound that draws on a love for dubstep, bass, hip hop and r&b. Her sets display the strength of her iwi, a connection to the whenua and hella attitude.

Mc Namchucks

Nam chucks is a regular selector for the homebass show on radioactive. Fm, she has graced the tables for newtown sound, taniwhas den, third eye hi-fi and hineraioana big bada boom soundsystem. Expect reggae, dub, and eastern-influenced vibes from the one and only mc namchucks.

Sequentia

Sequentia is a musician and promoter based in tāmaki makaurau, drawing influence from the bass heavy culture of their ōtautahi roots and their earlier experimental / improvisational projects. They host a monthly radio show on 95bfm called ‘soundbleed’, and in 2020 they founded related articles, which functions as a monthly broadcast, a record label and a club night. In 2019 they co-established the biennial 3-day experimental music event 'outlier festival'.
