Join us for a free trapping training course at the Ark!
Our specialist trapper, Ken, will provide practical training on how to set and maintain various types of traps, including DOC200 (stoat trap), PBT and Flipping Timmy (possum trap), Steve Alen traps, and rat and mouse traps. Ken will also demonstrate how to repair traps, calibrate them, and alter trigger weights.
You're welcome to bring along your backyard trap for repairs. After the training session, feel free to stick around to catch up with Ark volunteers and enjoy our classic free Saturday sausage sizzle lunch! We are open to our local community, current and past volunteers, friends, and whānau.
