University of Canterbury Graduation Parade

To celebrate the nearly 3,000 students graduating from Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury in 2024, we’re holding a street parade through the central city.

The parade will assemble in Hack Circle on the corner of Cashel and High Streets, and will process along Cashel Street, Oxford Terrace, before finishing in Victoria Square.

The procession will be led by the New Zealand Army Band and livestreamed on the University of Canterbury Facebook page.

We encourage and welcome everyone to join us in lining the streets and showing your support of our graduating students and their achievements.
