Melbourne/Naarm-based artist Danika, offers a refreshing and immersive sound, rich in harmonies and groove, drawing from a delicate blend of Folk, Soul and Jazz influences.
Playing in a trio format with bass and drums, Danika’s cyclical fingerpicking style and warm, textural electric guitar tones, paired with otherworldly vocals and candid lyrics create a full sound and cathartic outlet to be shared with the listener.
Local band Wallfower are in their second year of playing loud, immersive grunge-gaze tracks. Inspired by the ethereal wall of noise from artists like My Bloody Valentine and Whirr, combined with the screaming intensity of Babes in Toyland and Sonic Youth, Wallflower seeks to bring about emotions of nostalgia, melancholy, unease and Feminine rage bi*ch!
