Folk Tui Nominees Announced

The nominees for the 2015 Best Folk Album have been announced.

2014 winners Great North are once again in the running for the award, thanks to their third album Up in Smoke. Also in the running are Flip Grater for her album Pigalle, written and recorded in her new home of Paris, and Rachel Dawick for her fourth album The Boundary Riders, a collection of musical tales about New Zealand's pioneer women.

The Tui for the Best Folk Album 2015 is being presented at the 42nd annual Auckland Folk Festival in Kumeu (West Auckland) following the ‘Tui Finalists Concert’ on the evening of Sunday 25 January.
