New Zealand's most epic festival 'Bay Dreams' is gearing up to be the highlight of NZ summer with its star-studded lineup for 2020. This much-anticipated celebration will be held at Mt Maunganui's Trustpower Baypark and Nelson's Trafalgar Park for a Jan 1 & Jan 3 warm-up parties, and Jan 2 & Jan 4 main events.
Bay Dreams 2020 will raise the bar yet again—promising to deliver a world-class event with top class production, a lineup that's second to none and a stunning lay-out that'll complete the overall festival experience.
Leading the charge for the Mt Maunganui show is award-winning electro-pop songstress, Halsey. Sharing the stage with her are two acclaimed D&B stalwarts State Of Mind and TREi. Other hard hitters included in the Mount are: FuntCase, UZ, K+Lab, Riot Ten, Sullivan King, Flowidus and Raka. Hip-hop's up-and-comer Kid Rey will make his festival debut, whilst UKF's dance/electronic artists Dirtyphonics join the star-studded party. For Mt Maunganui's pre-party lineup, details are still under wraps so punters are encouraged to keep close eyes for further announcement.
Confirmed performers for the Nelson show are acclaimed MCs NFX and Distortion. Meanwhile, Christchurch-based D&B heroes Shapeshifter are set to headline the warm-up party along with other much-anticipated acts Friction, Kings of the Rollers, The Upbeats and Sunshine Sound System.
Performing on both The Mount and Nelson events is iconic hip-hop maestro, Tyler, The Creator. Joining him onstage are fellow rap legends Skepta and Yelawolf. Performing alongside them are some of the hottest hitmakers of this era including Ocean Alley, Ella Mai, Netsky, Gunna, Sub Focus, LMC and Shoreline Mafia. UKF's Benny L, Dimension, Flux Pavilion, Friction, Golden Features, Holy Goof & SaSaSas have also been announced to perform on both shows. Meanwhile, rising hip-hop star IAMDDB along with Australian musos Winston Surfshirt and Tones and I will also be joining the stellar lineup. Rounding up the bill for both Bay Dreams main events are festival favourites Mitch James, Sons of Zion and Mako Road.
With a reputation for securing some of the major hitmakers in music, Bay Dreams is one fist-pumping party you wouldn't want to miss!
