Two of rock music’s most iconic international stars, Sir Bob Geldof and Mick Fleetwood, will appear together in Auckland for a one-off event where they will reveal a side of themselves never seen before.
Playing It Strange, Geldof v Fleetwood, will see The Boomtown Rats and Live Aid founder, Sir Bob Geldof and Fleetwood Mac legend Mick Fleetwood in a candid interactive discussion moderated by former Split Enz member Mike Chunn about the most intimate details of their careers, with the captivating live Q&A followed by a full concert set.
Featuring some of the all-time favourite songs of Geldof and Fleetwood, the set will be performed by a hand-picked list of New Zealand’s top artists, such as Don McGlashan, James Reid and Jason Kerrison, in combination with high school-aged performers and singers from the Play It Strange charity stable.
Join us for an evening like no other with two of the world’s most celebrated music icons up close and personal. Treat your clients, colleagues and friends to a four-course banquet dinner, Q&A and live concert and charity auction on 23 September at the Vodafone Events Centre.
