Shapeshifter lock in two New Zealand shows this December and January

New Zealand's undisputed kings of drum 'n' bass and electronica, Shapeshifter, have just revealed two genre-defining shows this summer. They're set to play a one-off show at Tauranga's Mount Park on December 28, 2019 and a special 'Bay Dreams' warm-up party performance at Nelson's Trafalgar Park on January 3, 2020.

In Tauranga, Shapeshifter will be joined by heavy hitters The Upbeats, Tiki Taane, Sunshine Sound System, Concord Dawn and State Of Mind. Meanwhile, Nelson's Bay Dreams pre-party will see the group headline the star-studded lineup which includes Kings of the Rollers, Friction, The Upbeats with Tiki Taane and Sunshine Sound System (with more artists yet to be announced).

Shapeshifter (whose members are P Digsss, Nick Robinson, Dan McGruer, Sam Trevethick and Darren Mathiassen) have successfully taken their unmistakable blend of D&B and electronic dance music to the world. They're capable of morphing from rolling D&B to pummelling guitar-driven jams to horizon-shifting electronic soundscapes. Since breaking onto the music scene in 1999, they have long been a "must-see" act who never fails to deliver. Throughout their spanning career, they've performed at festivals like 'Glastonbury', 'The Big Chilland Parklife', and have played to packed out venues across Europe. With four EPs and five LPs to their name, show-stopping festival sets, as well as countless accolades and awards, Shapeshifter have become an integral part of New Zealand music culture.
