Historic Couldrey House modernises ticketing

Summary

Couldrey House is a historic Victorian-Edwardian family home set in a beautiful garden within Wenderholm Regional Park, a 40-minute drive north of Auckland’s CBD. Following challenges running their ticketing manually, they started using Eventfinda in 2018 and have now listed ten events managing these entirely themselves as self-service clients. The team at Couldrey House find organising their annual events much easier and their processes are far more efficient, finding the set-up simple to complete and  reporting features that enable them to get to know their customers better.

Before 2018, Couldrey House was managing their events manually which resulted in information being in multiple places like spreadsheets and paper notes and with multiple people. This resulted in stress and miscommunication among the team and customers.

They decided to start using Eventfinda to streamline their events process and ensure everything was in one place. Vicki Rapson, Co-Manager of Couldrey House said,

Although they’ve managed their listings themselves as self-service clients if they have needed help, they’ve reached out to the Eventfinda team.

They’ve found many features useful but especially the door list,

“The ability to print a door list is so useful so that if anybody forgets their ticket on the night, there's not a problem for us or the ticketholder.”

Even though they only put on a few events a year they’ve found the reporting features invaluable throughout the event life cycle and for getting to know who their customers are. Rapson said,

“We used the Eventfinder reporting in the lead-up to the event to see how our ticket sales were going, what types of tickets were being sold and to track the demographics of the people buying the tickets. And then after the event, we use it to produce reports that had the key metrics that were of interest to our stakeholders and also to help us plan for our next event.”
