Statements Gallery, now known as Art + Enterprise, opened in Napier in the 1990s, and has played a prominent role in the cultural make-up of the area since its establishment.
The building, which dates from 1932, was constructed shortly after the devastating Napier earthquake in 1931, and offers the gallery not only a prime, central location but the most exceptional space and light.
Since its inception, Statements Gallery has represented a strong stable of established and emerging contemporary artists, working in a variety of mediums, and across a diverse range of styles.
