The City of Invercargill Highland Pipe Band is the newest and most exciting group of musicians to emerge on the New Zealand Pipe Band scene. The band which was formed in 2009 after an amalgamation of the Southern City Highland Pipe Band and the City of Invercargill Caledonian Pipe Band endeavours to strive for excellence in the competitive arena, continue to develop youth and foster an innovative performance culture.
